Guess what? Two teams surprised everyone this week!
Gulshan Cricket Club and Agrani Bank Cricket Club.
These two teams played really well. Each team won three matches. That’s super cool! Now, they both have 10 points each.

Big Teams That Fell Short
Another famous team, Mohammedan Sporting Club, didn’t do very well.

That’s the most runs ever given by any bowler in Bangladesh’s List-A cricket history.
But, even though he gave away so many runs, he still took 3 wickets!
This happened because Anamul Haque from Gazi Group was smashing the ball everywhere!
Anamul scored an amazing 149 runs without getting out!
He hit 12 fours and 4 sixes.

Who Were the Best Bowlers?
Now, let’s talk about bowlers who did really well:
- Mahfuzur Rahman Rabby took 5 wickets in one match. That’s super special!
- From Agrani Bank, Robiul Hoque bowled amazingly!
He gave away only 14 runs and took 4 wickets!
He helped his team easily beat Dhanmondi Sporting Club.
The Most Exciting Match!
One of the most exciting matches was between Rupganj Tigers and Partex Sporting Club.
Here’s what happened:
- Partex Sporting Club batted first and scored 223 runs.
- Rupganj Tigers tried to chase the runs.
- The match came down to the last ball!
- Rupganj needed 3 runs on the final ball.
- The batter, Abdul Mazid, hit the ball for a FOUR (4 runs) and won the match!
- He also scored his first century (100 runs) of the season. WOW! 🌟
Which Teams Need to Work Harder?
The competition is really tight!
Eight teams are trying hard to be in the top six spots to reach the Super League.
Some teams, like Dhanmondi Sports Club and Prime Bank Cricket Club, are playing hot and cold—sometimes they win, sometimes they lose.
At the bottom, four teams have only 2 points each:
- Rupganj Tigers
- Partex Sporting Club
- Brothers Union
- Shinepukur Cricket Club
These teams need to win more matches to avoid going out of the tournament (this is called relegation).

Here’s a name you should remember:
Tofael Ahmed from Gazi Group is doing fantastic!

Tofael played really well in the big match against Mohammedan and helped his team win!
