MBBS In Georgian American University: An Overview
You must earn 360 credits to complete the UG MD program (equivalent to an MBBS degree in India) at GAU. The UG Medical Doctor program is designed to meet the challenges of academic and clinical training competitive, and highly qualified physicians for the 21st century.
- The program duration is 6 years including 1 year of compulsory clinical rotation.
- Eligibility is 50% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. NEET qualification is compulsory for Indian students, and the age should be 17 years.
- During 1 academic year, medical students accumulate 60 credits, i.e. 30 credits per semester.
- Depending on the student’s schedule, the total number of credits each year can be either less or more than the total of 60 credits, but not greater than 75 credits.
How Many Phrases Are There in the MBBS Program at GAU?

Phase I – Consists of – From Cell to Body: 1st and 2nd year, you will learn an introduction to the core human body, biomedical science, and social and behavioral sciences. In 2 years, you will learn to interview patients in various clinical settings.
