Does your Orbi router say “No internet”? Do not panic — in the majority of cases, this is an easy-to-fix problem. Once the Orbi or any device in your home says that it has no internet, try out the following troubleshooting steps.
The first item you want to check is the modem. Unplug the modem and the Orbi router, wait for 60 seconds, and then plug the modem in. When the modem has fully booted, plug the Orbi router back in. This power cycle is very effective in clearing any temporary glitches that cause communication problems.
Now, start the Orbi app or head to orbilogin.com and log in to your router. If your Orbi still is not connecting, check if the Ethernet cable from the modem going into the Orbi router is firmly plugged in and if the cable itself has no damage.
If the problem persists, perform a factory reset on the router (hold down the reset button for 10 seconds) and then rerun the Orbi setup from the app.
Still showing Orbi not connected to internet? Check with your ISP about any outage or any issues with the modem.
