A high level of inherent rigidity is combined with innovative grain bonding and it makes the abrasive mesh cloth the ideal product for each craftsman. The diameter discs are equipped with an innovative system. The Reticular Mesh can be used on each long-neck sander available on the market. The innovative, open structure enables heavily soiled surfaces to be cleaned & soft fillers that would normally produce a higher level of dust to be sanded.
Sanding mesh is bonded to water resistant, and the open mesh resists clogging during use, and it is an alternative to sandpaper-type abrasives. It is ideal for plaster, plasterboard, and drywall finishing.
All types of mesh are manufactured utilizing the Ultra-Flex technology. Each type is long-lasting, extremely flexible, and reusable. The flex properties of the mesh allow it to conform to the shapes of conventional goods. Sheets with pressure-sensitive backing can be ordered so that you can cut the mesh to specific shapes, letting you adhere it to most polishing devices. All formats are made with large, uniform crystals that recede into the Ultra-Flex matrix as pressure is applied, allowing the tips to all line up so they are level with the part polished. This technology provides a brilliant, and consistent finish. The technology reduces crystal fracturing making it a long-lasting, high-quality abrasive on today’s market. It also reduces heat generation out of the abrasive crystals and causes other surface imperfections in the part being polished.
All formats of Reticular Mesh are available in sheets, rolls, discs, Soft Touch Pads, kits, and files. The backing is a long-lasting cloth to which a flexible cushioning layer is applied. The cushioning layer will determine how you can push crystals before they penetrate the cushioning layer. On top of this there is a resilient glue, not a hard resin, but a flexible glue that will hold the crystals while allowing them to rotate. The crystals can turn without coming loose.
